We Are

As talented as she is passionate, Helen is committed to effective branding. Especially when it comes to creating them for her clients. At Tardis she’s responsible for strategising with our clients to breathe life into their brands, come up with clever marketing ideas and dream up winning advertising campaigns. As a creative director she arms herself with wisdom, inspiring others to take the road less travelled.
Helen’s creativity spills over to her culinary pursuits which are increasingly featuring ingredients from her organic garden.

Julie is our in-house rock that keeps us on track and focused. It’s a wonderful quality to have when you’re responsible for making sure everything that leaves the Tardis studio is perfect. She works closely with the creative team and oversees projects through their production stage, ensuring they are on time and faultless. She furthers our potential at Tardis through her constant desire to discover and deliver. Her flexible approach extends beyond the workplace to her aspirational agility on a yoga mat.

A creative multi disciplinary graphic designer, strategist & art director, Yasmine works from the inside out, digging down to discover the essence of the brief, and from there building strong, well integrated design concepts and strategies. In her ‘past life’ she was a community lawyer, in fact at one point she was a barrister and a barista at the same time! Confused? All we know is it’s a great combination. At home designing for on and offline environments and interactions. When we’re lucky she exhibits her personal illustrative work so watch out for gallery invites!

Seven years previous experience as a Studio Manager of a small design agency gave Sara a great grounding in the design world. Whilst working (and being a mum of two) she pursued her dream of studying design and graduated with a large smile on her face. In her spare time, she designs a fashion accessory and is conquering the industry one boot at a time. She can also tell a crustacean from a gastropod from her Zoology studies, which comes in handy if she manages a dive on Wellington’s coast.

A man of many talents, Tim has been working in the New Zealand advertising industry for over 13 years. A trained illustrator, specialist web designer, and master photo re-toucher, he adds a unique and special dimension to the studio. Aside from being our new media expert, after hours, he leads fifty drummers in New Zealand’s largest samba band, Wellington Batucada, and plays in his 7-piece samba band Te Aro Samba.

It’s hard to give a title to someone who juggles so many things at once: liaising with clients, research, coordination of suppliers as well as managing our studio. With over 20 years of experience Caro is a brilliant facilitator and excels at brand management. Her passion for typography has led her to be a true champion of all things visual, from street art to lovingly crafted design pieces.

Lynette is our accounts maestro and general office wrangler. She plays an important support role, and keeps all of us focused on providing great service. Lynette has extensive experience in the printing industry and has a knack for managing staff abilities while maintaining customer focus. A motor sports fiend at heart – Lynette particularly enjoys motorcycling.

On arrival at Tardis, it’s likely that your initial welcome will be from our beautiful border terrier, Rosa. A little camera shy, Rosa loves long walks on the south coast and is particularly fond of the odd ‘Schmaco’ treat & sparkling water bottle. When she’s not our enthusiastic team mascot, making you feel at home, she’s sleeping. In fact if she could write – 95% of her timesheet would be z’ed time.
